“The hummingbird is the perfect symbol for the moments I capture in my albums,” Nancy says. “They’re moments that hover silently, linger for a beautiful instant, and then disappear.” Reach out and hold on to those moments with this versatile collection.”

New book: “Full of Love”

The partnership between Creative Memories and Nancy O’Dell is more than just a collection; we’ll be partnering with Nancy to write a book about the importance of albums and scrapbooking. “Full of Love” will share her ideas on how easy it is to create great albums by telling personal stories and sharing priceless family photos. The book is scheduled to be released Oct. 15, 2010.

Look for Nancy on your favorite TV shows and magazines. She’ll be working hard to promote our new partnership and products. You can support her efforts by connecting with Nancy on Facebook and Twitter.

A brand new logo unveiled

A brand new logo unveiled

Over the years, a company’s logo and identity can become as comfortable and familiar as a favorite pair of jeans. But when you want to make the best impression, you turn to something fresh and modern.

So after concentrated research with both Consultants and consumers, we’re excited to unveil a new look for Creative Memories.
We’re making other changes too, like specifically working to target our offerings to two distinct customer groups with the help of recent research. This segmentation will help you reach new people in new ways.

What’s in a logo?

• The O in Creative Memories is a stylized version of a camera’s shutter – fitting for us since it all starts with a photo!

• The blue color gives a nod to our previous blue oval logo, but in a brighter, updated color.

• The variety of lettering styles in the logo also reminds us that we all share a love for stories and photos, even though our handwriting and personal styles are unique.

• Focus groups loved the color and playfulness of the shutter symbol. Some consumers thought that it reminded them of a spinning CD, which made them think of digital. To others, it made them think of a decorative embellishment.
